Sunfox Farm’s 7th Annual Sunflower Bloom Festival returns this August, bringing one of New Hampshire’s most vibrant summer landscapes back into full view. Spanning 20 acres and featuring an estimated 500,000 sunflowers, the festival offers visitors a chance to walk through winding paths of golden blooms, build custom bouquets, and take in sweeping views from elevated decks. Located in Concord, just minutes from downtown, the event runs daily from August 9 through August 17.
Details About the Festival
August 9 – 17, 2025 | 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM Daily
Location: 6 Loudon Rd, Concord, NH
Admission: $12 per person (free for children under 10)
Tickets: Available online or at the gate
Visitors can explore extensive walking paths, pick their own sunflowers for $2 per stem, and enjoy access to photo platforms throughout the fields. The festival features daily live music from local performers, with expanded lineups on weekends. A curated selection of food trucks will be available on-site, along with over 20 small business vendors offering handmade goods, treats, and gifts.
The festival is designed for all ages. Children under 10 attend free, and the mid-August timing provides an ideal window for late summer outings. Weekday visits offer a quieter experience, while weekends tend to bring a livelier crowd.
A Regional Collaboration
This year’s festival is presented in collaboration with the New Hampshire Lakes Region Tourism Association. As described on their event listing:
“After exploring your favorite exhibits, cooling off in the planetarium, or catching a show, head just down the road to wander 20 breathtaking acres of sunflowers—a perfect spot for young explorers to roam and for snapping those dreamy, summer family photos.”
The partnership aims to provide families and travelers with more ways to extend their time in the region, combining recreational, cultural, and agricultural attractions into a full-day or weekend experience.
Planning Your Visit
Parking is available on-site, directly behind the field at 6 Loudon Rd. The terrain is mostly walkable, though natural surfaces can be uneven. Comfortable footwear is recommended. Guests should also bring water, sunscreen, and a hat to stay cool during midday hours.
Photography is encouraged. Professional shoots are allowed during normal business hours at no extra cost, and after-hours sessions can be arranged for those seeking quieter conditions. Pets are not allowed during festival hours, but may be permitted during evening sessions by request.
About Sunfox Farm
Sunfox Farm began in 2018 after founder Greg returned from a trip to Italy, where he had driven through rolling hills lined with sunflowers. Though the flowers were past bloom, the vision stayed with him. With ten years of farming experience but no background in grains, Greg decided to challenge himself with a new crop. He leased two acres and planted his first sunflower field. When the flowers bloomed, Sunfox Farm was born.
Since then, the farm has expanded to include an additional leased property in Deerfield, where Greg began growing culinary herbs and herbal teas. In 2020, Amber Brouillette joined the team. After working as a clinical dietitian, she had started farming in New York in 2017, fell in love with the work, and eventually moved back to New Hampshire. Amber brought experience in greenhouse management, crop planning, and small scale farm operations, and has been a key part of the team behind the past two sunflower festivals.
Today, Sunfox Farm focuses on sustainable growing practices and community-oriented events, including the annual sunflower festival that welcomes thousands of visitors each year.
