2023 Annual Celebration of NH Early Childhood Professionals – April 3rd

Join them on Monday, April 3, 2023, for a time to celebrate you the NH Early Childhood Professional. This live, in-person event (with an online option for a portion of the event) is open to all NH early childhood education and care providers. The event includes awards and recognition for those Early Childhood Professionals who have earned a credential(s) since spring 2019!⁣

Countdown to Eclipse Kickoff Event – April 8th

Are you wondering where you’ll be on April 8th, 2024? If you’re in New Hampshire, you’ll have the opportunity to witness a total solar eclipse along the path of totality. This rare event last occurred in 1959 and won’t happen again until 2079. As we approach the year-long countdown to this historic event, we’re partnering with the New Hampshire Astronomical Society and the NH Solar Eclipse Task Force to celebrate eclipses with an exciting event.

You’re invited to join us for this celebration, which is included with general admission. As part of the event, we’ll be featuring planetarium shows, including a special focus on the upcoming eclipse in the 2 pm showing of “Tonight’s Sky.” Tickets for all planetarium shows are just $6, so don’t miss out on this unique opportunity to learn and experience the wonder of eclipses.

Resilience Breakfast – April 12th

Join CCCNH for our 1st Resilience Breakfast highlighting our work supporting survivors of sexual assault. It’s a hopeful, inspiring morning that brings together community members, along with corporate partners and our special guest speaker, Mariah Larocque, who is an actor, screenwriter, activist, and survivor, and the former Miss Maine 2021.

There’s even more reason to attend the 2023 Resilience Breakfast. You’ll be part of history as we celebrate 45 years of advocacy and progress for survivors in Merrimack County.

Business Showcase – April 13th

Don’t miss out on the 32nd Annual Business Showcase, hosted by the Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce! As the Chamber’s biggest networking event of the year, the Business Showcase brings together 250 attendees in a lively trade show atmosphere.

Earth Day Swap with Americorp Seniors – April 22nd

If you’re a senior, you won’t want to miss the 1st Annual Earth Day Swap hosted by the Americorp Senior staff at The Friends Program. Come out and enjoy a day of swapping, picking up cool treats and swag, and learning about ways to make your community a better place not just on Earth Day, but every day.

This event promises to be a fun-filled day with opportunities to connect with other seniors in your community and trade your gently used items for something fresh and new. Candy and Canvas-Teen Art Workshop – April 25th

Looking for a fun and creative activity to do with your friends during spring break? Join us for our “Candy and Canvas” paint workshop! In this 2-hour workshop, you’ll get to create a beautiful painting while enjoying some sweet treats. The theme for this workshop is Cactus and Succulents. An instructor will provide step-by-step guidance and a painting example for you to create a unique masterpiece.

Our experienced instructor will guide you step-by-step through the painting process, so no experience is necessary. We’ll provide all the materials you need, including canvas, paintbrushes, acrylic paints, and aprons. And of course, we’ll also have plenty of candy on hand to fuel your creativity.

Poet Russell Rowland, Magnificat – April 27th

Join us at Gibson’s Bookstore for an evening with New Hampshire poet Russell Rowland as he presents his latest collection of poetry, Magnificat. Concord | Ninja Mountain Bike Clinics – April 29th

Ninja provides camps and clinics for confident riders. The 2-day camp is ideal for a comprehensive weekend program, while “a la carte” clinics cater to specific needs or time constraints.
