Laura Piazza is an award-winning Certified Professional Photographer and graphic designer and has created thousands of design projects for many employers and clients. She is the graphic designer at University of New Hampshire at Manchester and operates her own freelance graphic design and photography business, Piazza Creative. She photographed the recipes featured in this book, designed the book and is the voice behind this website. Still battling chronic Lyme disease, she speaks at events on the topics of Lyme disease prevention and the important role good nutrition plays when battling any illness, in the hope that she can help others facing similar challenges.

Dr. Kenneth B. Singleton realized the critical role good nutrition played in his own recovery from misdiagnosed Lyme disease and eventually began to develop a dietary protocol to share with his patients. He refined his nutrition plan based on clinical experience and patient outcomes and eventually developed The Lyme Inflammation Diet®, which became popularized in his book, The Lyme Disease Solution. Dr. Singleton is a board-certified specialist in Internal Medicine and has lectured extensively and is a frequent guest on radio and TV on topics related to health, particularly Lyme disease. He is an active member of ILADS (International Lyme and Associated Diseases Society), ACAM (American College for Advancement in Medicine), and A4M (American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine). He has a private practice in suburban Baltimore.
