‘Lilise Designer Resale’ was founded in 2011, but it was bought by its current owner, Elyssa Alfieri in 2016. The owner before Elyssa ran the business in a way that had many things in common in how Elyssa runs it today. A couple of examples on what makes LDR stand out is that they offer a unique approach for different customers and events in store. Customers are more than welcome to plan collaboration projects with the store, even encouraged to do so!
Elyssa Alfieri from SNHU with degrees in Retailing and Fashion Merchandising. She worked for a few big-box retailers in the past and came to find how much she loves small business. Elyssa was a manager of a local boutique for several years before choosing to start a small business of her own.
There used to be a stigma regarding thrifting and resale. However, in more recent years, it’s quite the opposite. At LDR, you can get everything you want out of a shopping experience without sacrificing one’s values. You can shop ethically and sustainably, while supporting a local business and community, *and* you’re saving tons of money while you do it! LDR’s merchandise is sold at around 40-60% off of retail prices. From stickers, to apparel, to jewelry; there’s something that each and every individual customer will like to purchase at LDR!
